Chino
The city has a long agricultural history and has a motto “Where Everything Grows”. Located in San Bernardino County just below the San Gabriel Mountains. At one time Chino was one of nations premier locations for dairy farming. Prado Regional Park has over 2,000 acres of recreational options. You can enjoy camping, fishing, horseback riding, boating and more. Take a day to visit the Chino Youth Museum or the Planes of Fame Air Museum. Downtown Chino is home to satellite branches of the San Bernardino County Library and Chaffey Community College, the Chino Community Theatre, the Chino Boxing Club and a weekly Farmer’s Market. In 2008, the city of Chino was awarded the prestigious “100 Best Communities for Youth” award for the second time in three years.
